Bryngwyn Llamas

Llama as trekking companions

Llamas can be walked for pleasure and once trained they will happily carry a pack for considerable distances; sharing long distance trails as a willing and fun companion, full of curiosity about their surroundings.  Currently in the UK llamas tend to be used more for half or full day treks carrying such essentials as waterproofs, water and lunch for their human companions. Here at Bryngwyn we offer a range of trekking options ranging from short morning or afternoon strolls with the llamas to full day treks along a variety of bridleways in the area.  No more than four people are taken at anyone time each with their own individual llama companion. Trekkers need to wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
